Jamie Delgado & Ken Skupski, who had won through to the semi-finals of the men's doubles at the ATP 250 event in Marseille, were defeated by French pairing Nicolas Mahut & Edouard Roger-Vasselin.
The British pair were beaten 6-2, 6-3 by the home favourites who ultimately went on to claim the winners title.

The British pair will now be taking on Florent Serra (FRA) & David Guez (FRA) who defeated Jamie Murray & Paul Hanley in their first round match.

In their first round match, the British pair will be taking on Pierre-Hugues Herbert (FRA) & Nicolas Renavand (FRA).
Jamie Murray and Australian partner Paul Hanley were also in action but were beaten 3-6, 7-6(1), 10-8 in a tight three set battle by Florent Serra (FRA) & David Guez (FRA).
