It was an amazing opportunity and one that I never thought I would have as when I was growing up tennis was not really an Olympic sport.
The Opening Ceremony was incredible. Also, meeting and getting to know other British athletes and then watching them compete was a highlight.
It was a mixture of highs and lows. On one hand, when we won our semi-final, it was an amazing moment because we were guaranteed a medal and it was a great feeling to win that match. On the other hand, when we received our medal, it was quite disappointing as the presentation was right after the match and we hadn’t played well in the final.

Novak Djokovic with Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray close seconds. On the women’s side I would like to see either Maria Sharapova or Kim Clijsters win a gold medal. They’ve both achieved so much and it would be great to see them add an Olympic medal to their collection.
I’m really looking forward to watching the cycling, rowing, track and field and tennis.
Yes, I do. I think home support could give them the extra edge.
Go out and focus on the job in hand but also enjoy the opportunity of competing in their home Olympic Games.
I’ve been a part of the LOCOG Sport Advisory Group for four years and I will be commentating for the BBC during the Olympics.
