Marion Bartoli and Petra Kvitova will contest the AEGON International women's singles final after semi-final victories at Devonshire Park on Saturday.
Bartoli, the French sixth seed, was a 6-3, 6-1 winner over Australian Sam Stosur in windy conditions on Centre Court.
"Today was the worst conditions I've ever played in," said Stosur after her defeat, "It's one of those days where you've just got to try hard and do whatever you can to get through, because it's very hard to hit the shots you want.
"She got that first shot in more times than I could and I was on the back foot. It just wasn't easy."
Petra Kvitova progressed through to the final when Daniela Hantuchova retired with an abdominal strain whilst trailing 6-7(9), 2-4.
The Czech fifth seed took a tight first set 11-9 on the tie-break and went an early break up in the second set before the unseeded Slovakian was forced to withdraw.
"It's not great; that's for sure" said Hantuchova of the injury. "It happened at 3-0e in the first set. I was running for a wide backhand and kind of felt a sharp pain and just was getting worse and worse from then.
"I will now hope for some magic and get as much treatment as I can. I am seeing the doctor now, and as soon as I come to Wimbledon I will try to work with the physios and try to do something to be able to be ready for Monday."
The women's final is scheduled to begin not before 2.45pm on Saturday on Centre Court.
Meanwhile the men's finalists have been decided after victories for both Janko Tipsarevic and Andreas Seppi.
The Serbian Tipsarevic, who is seeded third in Eastbourne, defeated Kei Nishikori 6-2, 6-4 after breaking the Japanese player twice in the opening set and once more in set two to win in one hour and 18 minutes.
Earlier Italian Seppi required three sets to overcome Igor Kunitsyn of Russia 6-4, 2-6, 6-4 to take his place in the final.
The women's doubles semi-finals were also completed with the top two seeds progressing through to the final.
No.1 seeds Kveta Peschke & Katarina Srebotnik were straight sets winners against Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez & Anabel Medina Garrigues, winning 6-4, 6-3.
The second semi-final was an all American affair and saw the No.2 seeds Liezel Huber & Lisa Raymond overcome the fourth seeds Bethanie Mattek-Sands & Meghann Shaughnessy 6-1, 6-2.
The women's doubles final will take place on Court 1 at about 3.45pm on Saturday.
