Alex Ward has won the AEGON Player of the Month award for November.
The British 21 year old won his second men's Futures singles title by winning the $15k event in the Czech Republic.
Ward, the world No.348, was seeded fifth in the tournament held on indoor carpet courts in Roznov pod Radhostem.
In the singles main draw Ward battled through his opening round in three sets before seeing off a Polish qualifier in round two.
In the quarter-finals Ward defeated the Croatian second seed in straight sets before blitzing local favourite Adam Pavlasek (CZE) [WC] in the semi-finals, winning 6-2, 6-1.
In the final Ward was 6-3, 1-0 up on compatriot Josh Goodall before Goodall, the top seed, was forced to retire, handing Ward the singles crown.
Ward, who also went on to reach the quarter-final in the Futures event in Opava the following week, is now ranked at a career high 348 in the world and is the British No.7.
He will now turn his attentions to a December off-season training camp at the National Tennis Centre with the majority of the top British men also taking part.
