Andy Murray has won the AEGON Player of the Month award for June.
The British No.1 won the AEGON Championships at The Queen's Club and reached the semi-finals of The Championships, Wimbledon.
At the ATP 250 event in London, the AEGON Championships, Murray, the world No.4, won five matches in six days as he won his second singles title at The Queen's Club.
After a bye in round one Murray needed three sets to defeat Xavier Malisse before beating the 14th seed Janko Tipsarevic in straight sets and gaining a walkover against Marin Cilic in the quarter-finals.
In his semi-final against Andy Roddick Murray played some of the best tennis of his career as he stormed to a 6-3, 6-1 win over the American before he took on the French No.3 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the final.
The match was carried over to Monday after rain washed out Sunday's play and in it the Briton rebounded from dropping the opening set to win the match 3-6, 7-6(2), 6-4 and take his second AEGON Championships title.
Exactly a week later and Murray was on Centre Court at the All England Lawn Tennis Club vying to become Wimbledon champion for the first time.
Again Murray won five matches on the London grass courts, beating Daniel Gimeno-Traver, Tobias Kamke and Ivan Ljubicic in his first three rounds.
In the quarter-finals the British No.1 was sublime in his straight sets win over Richard Gasquet and followed this up with another three set victory as he defeated Feliciano Lopez 6-3, 6-4, 6-4.
Despite a tough loss to Rafael Nadal, after he'd won the opening set, in the semi-finals Murray once again performed well at the Grand Slam where he has now reached the semi-finals for three years in a row.
The British No.1 has little time to reflect on his achievements across the grass court season as he now looks to help GB gain promotion in the Davis Cup by BNP Paribas as they take on Luxembourg in Glasgow.
