- Place of Birth: Spartanburg, South Carolina, USA
- Family: Parents Julien and Alison are from Birmingham, moving to the USA before Oliver was born. He has one sister, Lizzy, who is two years younger.
- University: University of Florida
- Hobbies/Interests: Golf and watching stand-up comedy. He tries to see at least one local comedy session in different places he travels to on tour.
Oliver switched nationalities from USA to Great Britain in January 2024 ahead of the Australian Open. With both his parents coming from Birmingham and much of his family still living in the UK, his British heritage was a key motivation for the switch.
During his time at the University of Florida, Crawford was a a three-time ITA All-American, a two-time First Team All-SEC selection and reached a ranking of No.3 player in the nation before leaving college to go pro in 2020.

- Won the Sarasota Challenger title alongside Tristan Boyer, after they defeated American duo Ethan Quinn and Tennys Sandgren 6-4, 6-2 in the final

In 2023, Crawford had his best season to date, starting the year ranked world No.322 and achieveing a career-high at No.193 in November.
The 24-year-old won two singles titles across the season at the M25 Monastir and M25 Klosters as he continued to climb the rankings and start competing on the ATP Challenger Tour.
He closed out the season in style, reaching five consecutive finals between September and November, including two Challenger tournaments in Charleston and Curitiba.
