The programming element of our place to play strategy focuses on awareness, access and opportunity.
Awareness - We are raising the profile and driving interest in tennis by organising a tennis campaign and developing the functionality of LTA online. This will raise the awareness of tennis as an accessible sport and make it easier for people to find their local place to play.
Access - Through the field team we will be working with places to play to support them to ensure tennis is accessible to their local community.
Opportunity - Through the field team we will work with places to play and facility owners to support them to grow their programmes and the number of people playing tennis at their site on a regular basis, ideally once a week. We will also support places to play in the delivery of high quality performance programmes to develop the talent pool.
