There are many tennis coaches in Britain, each with different skills and experience. It can be hard for clubs to choose the right coach.
Coaches are central to success in British Tennis - whether encouraging people to start out, return to the game, or helping them to improve and reach their potential. A coach is a valuable asset for any tennis club or tennis provider.
When choosing a coach there are 3 main areas to consider:
To know if a coach is right for you then it is useful to know what qualification the coach has, how much training the qualification involved and when the qualification was completed. Use the Coaching Pathway to inform your decisions.
The qualification a coach has will be indicative of the players they have been trained to coach so it is important that you match their skills with your needs.
