Wimbledon museum

Experience the story of tennis at The Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum. The museum's collection dates back to 1555.

Highlights of the museum include a glimpse of how the original medieval game of real tennis has now become a multi-million-dollar professional sport.

You can also see The Championships trophies, film and video footage of great players in action, plus an extensive collection of tennis memorabilia.

Located at the entrance of the museum, the Museum Shop offers visitors an opportunity to purchase a wide range of exclusive tennis gifts and Championships’ merchandise, unique to the museum’s own collection.

Wimbledon grounds tours for individuals run most days during the summer (with the exception of The Championships period) and at weekends in the winter. Group tours are available on request.
