SUNDAY
Singles final
- Andy Murray (GBR) [1] bt James Blake (USA) [6] 7-5 6-4
“James is a tough player, we’ve only played once before so I didn’t know quite what to expect. I thought it was a good match, not so many long rallies. This was some of the best tennis I’ve ever played in my life – I just had a good week. I feel good this year and I’ve played well this week. Now I’ll just try and focus on getting ready for Wimbledon and preparing as best as possible.” ~ Andy Murray

SATURDAY
Singles semi-final
- Andy Murray (GBR) [1] bt Juan Carlos Ferrero (ESP) 6-2 6-4
“I got off to a very good start in the first set, and then I have been serving well all week and managed to keep the pressure on by serving well. But the second set, I had chances at the start and didn't take them. He played some good points and some big serves. There were a lot of good, long rallies in the second set, and I managed to break him once. But it was a tough second set.” ~ Andy Murray

FRIDAY
Singles quarter final
- Andy Murray (GBR) [1] bt Mardy Fish (USA) [8] 7-5 6-3
"It was very difficult because you need to focus the whole match against Mardy and I did that very well. I didn’t give him any opportunities on my serve. He started very well, serving big, serving a lot of aces and that always makes it tough when it’s difficult to break your opponent’s serve. But I was very happy with way I served and I returned well when I needed to. I feel more comfortable on the grass this year than I did at the same stage last year. I served very well this week and that’s something I’ll continue to try and do for the rest of this tournament and going in to Wimbledon because it’s a major part of playing well on the grass." ~ Andy Murray
Doubles quarter final
- Lukasz Kubot (POL) & Oliver Marach (AUT) [5] bt Colin Fleming (GBR) & Ken Skupski (GBR) [WC] 5-7 7-6(3) [10-7]
Fleming and Skupski saw their fine run in the doubles come to an end after losing to the No.5 seeds. However, the British pair will be disappointed with the result as they came so close to booking a place in the semi-final when serving for the match in the second set.

THURSDAY
Singles third round
- Andy Murray (GBR) [1] bt Guillermo Garcia-Lopez (ESP) [16] 6-4 6-4
"I thought that was good. I didn’t give many opportunities on my service games and I broke once a set so it was solid. He started very well and made it difficult for me but I came through the tough parts well. At the start of the match I hit quite a lot of aces and didn’t give him too many opportunities. That’s something which is very important on grass because you don’t want to be able to let your opponent play aggressive on your service games." ~ Andy Murray
Doubles second round
- Julien Benneteau (FRA) & Michael Llodra (FRA) bt Ross Hutchins (GBR) & Stephen Huss (AUS) [8] 7-5 6-2
Hutchins and Huss returned to the court following a rain delay on Wednesday evening but were defeated by an experienced French partnership - Llodra has won three Grand Slam doubles titles.
- Jeff Coetzee (RSA) & Jordan Kerr (AUS) [7] bt Jamie Murray (GBR) & Jonathan Erlich (ISR) 6-3 6-0
Having won their opening match on Wednesday, Murray and Erlich bowed out in the second round against the No.7 seeds.

WEDNESDAY
Singles second round
- Andy Murray (GBR) [1] bt Andreas Seppi (ITA) 6-1 6-4
"In the first set I played very well, took a lot of my chances and then at the end of the match I closed it out relatively comfortably. The first match on grass is always a bit harder than it seems regardless of the score line. He’s [Guillermo Garcia-Lopez] a tough player, very consistent. He won his first ATP tournament just before the French Open and he’s playing some of the best tennis of his life. It will be a tough match. I’ll try to play like I did today and if I do then I’ve got a good chance." ~ Andy Murray
Doubles second round
- Ross Hutchins (GBR) & Stephen Huss (AUS) [8] v Julien Benneteau (FRA) & Michael Llodra (FRA) 4-4 DNF
With moisture in the air and the court becoming slippy, Hutchins and Huss had their doubles match against Benneteau and Llodra stopped in the first set - the two pairs will be back tomorrow to finish off the job.
- Colin Fleming (GBR) & Ken Skupski (GBR) [WC] bt Bob Bryan (USA) & Mike Bryan (USA) [2] 6-4 6-4
“We expected to come into the court and enjoy ourselves and play well, bring our A game. I think after the slow start, we really got into it and we produced our best tennis. You can produce results like this if you play your A game. It was fantastic. They play in every tournament in the world, and you think, wow, I'd love to be there playing with those guys or playing at that level. Unfortunately today it's our first chance of playing at this level, and we've taken them down. I'm speechless, to be honest with you. It's great. We've got a job to do. We're still here. We've got another day tomorrow. I don't know if we play yet, but we're excited.” ~ Ken Skupski
Doubles first round
- Jamie Murray (GBR) & Jonathan Erlich (ISR) bt Leos Friedl (CZE) & David Skoch (CZE) 7-6(5) 3-6 [10-3]
Murray and Erlich began their doubles campaign with a win over Freidl and Skoch to set up a second round clash with No.7 seeds Jeff Coetzee and Jordan Kerr.

TUESDAY
Doubles second round
- Lukasz Kubot (POL) & Oliver Marach (AUT) [5] bt Andy Murray (GBR) & Lleyton Hewitt (AUS) 6-4 6-3
Murray and Hewitt saw their run in the doubles come to an end against Kubot and Marach - the British No.1 will be in action on the singles court tomorrow.
Doubles first round
- Colin Fleming (GBR) & Ken Skupski (GBR) [WC] bt Andrei Pavel (ROU) & Horia Tecau (ROU) 7-6(3) 6-4
Fleming and Skupski continued their fine run of form by recording a straight sets victory over Pavel and Tecau to set up a mouth watering second round clash with American twins Bob and Mike Bryan, the reigning Australian Open champions.

MONDAY
Singles first round
- Gilles Muller (LUX) bt Josh Goodall (GBR) [WC] 6-3 7-6(7)
"I played a ropey first game of the match and got broken and then obviously he’s serving well and I didn’t have chance to get back into the first set. Having said that I had four break points but he hit four aces. I got off to a good start in the second set. I was holding serve and then I played a good tie-break and gave myself an opportunity to take the set but I just didn’t manage to take it. I had four really good wins last week and that gave me confidence and I’m not going to lose any confidence from today. I’ve still got a few more grass court tournaments and I still think I can do some damage." ~ Josh Goodall
- Marcos Baghdatis (CYP) [WC] bt James Ward (GBR) [WC] 6-2 6-3
“I’ve been working all year to be involved in tournaments like this so that’s probably the biggest positive I can take. It’s another experience, another match under my belt and in front of a big crowd which doesn’t happen that often at the moment. Hopefully I can take that into Eastbourne next week and then into Wimbledon. I’m always confident in my own ability but sometimes if the other guy plays too good or if one day you don’t come out and play your best then there’s not much you can do.” ~ James Ward
Doubles first round
- Andy Murray (GBR) & Lleyton Hewitt (AUS) bt Rajeev Ram (USA) & Andy Roddick (USA) 3-6 6-3 [12-10]
Murray and Hewitt got off to a winning start as they came through an entertaining first round doubles match against Ram and Roddick - they now play Lukasz Kubot and Oliver Marach, the No.5 seeds, in the next round.
