The Tennis Foundation's vision is a sport which is inclusive and accessible to every kind of community.
Our aim is to provide opportunities to encourage people to both play and enjoy tennis, as well as to maximise their personal potential through the sport. We’re doing this by engaging all parts of the community, recognising diversity and promoting inclusion.
We’re working closely with the LTA to support coaches and places to play to deliver sustainable tennis across the country. Tennis is a sport for life and we want to increase the awareness of the health and social benefits it can bring.
The Tennis Foundation is leading on a series of community based pilots across eight areas of England, Scotland and Wales to help identify what works best in growing the game, particularly in urban areas, and how to develop a sustainable model at a local level. Building broader community engagement will be an important part of this programme.
