Sam Querrey won the quickest final of the year against Lithuanian qualifier Ricardas Berankis to win the Farmer’s Classic in Los Angeles for the third time.
The American second seed was in impressive form all week and continued that form in the final by sweeping past first-time finalist Berankis 6-0, 6-2.
The 24 year-old ripped through the first nine games of the final before Berankis – making a comeback after a pelvis stress fracture in 2011 - got on the board and made the second set more competitive.
However it was not enough to stop Querrey who sealed his 7th career singles title after just 51 minutes of play.
