British No.1 Andy Murray battled over three sets to make the semi-finals of the Japan Open.
Defending champion Murray defeated Swiss opponent Stanislas Wawrinka 6-2, 3-6, 6-2 in just over two hours. Murray, who is playing in his first tournament since his Grand Slam win at Flushing Meadows plays big-serving Canadian Milos Raonic in the last-four.

Seventh seeds Daniel Bennett & Alexis Canter reached the semi-finals of the boys’ doubles in Argentina before being defeated by second seeds Juan Manuel Benitez Chavarriaga (COL) & Matias Zukas (ARG).
US Open USTA Wheelchair Tennis Championships
British No.1 Lucy Shuker reached the first Super Series women's singles final of her career on the third day of play in St. Louis after beating second seed and world No.7 Sharon Walraven of the Netherlands for the second time this season, while Gordon Reid booked his place in his second Super Series semi-final of 2012.
