ATP Challenger - Garden Open 2012 – Men’s doubles
Top seeds Ken Skupski & Jamie Delgado have won through to the men's doubles finals in Rome. After defeating Italian third seeds Stefano Ianni & Simone Vagnozzi in the last four, they now play Adrian Menendez-Maceiras (ESP) & Walter Trusendi (ITA) for the title.

USA F12 Futures – Orange Park $10k – Men’s doubles
Edward Corrie continued an encouraging recent run of form in doubles in America, partnering Vahid Mirzadeh this week to reach the semi-finals of the men’s doubles. The British/American duo faced Fritz Wolmarans (RSA) & Phillip Simmonds (USA) in the last four where they were beaten 6-3, 6-4.

Sweden F2 Futures – Bastad $10k – Men’s doubles
Second seeds George Morgan & Lewis Burton reached the semi-finals of the men’s doubles in Sweden where they were eventually beaten by third seeds Vladimir Ivanov (EST) & Andriej Kapas (POL).

$50,000 Fukuoka – Women’s singles
Melanie South has advanced through to the women's singles semi-finals in Japan after a 7-6(4), 6-4 win over lucky loser Ksenia Lykina (RUS). In the last four South faces Monique Adamczak (AUS).

Francesca Stephenson & Lucy Brown are through to the semi-finals in Sweden. The third seeded British duo will now play Hilda Melander (SWE) & Paulina Milosavljevic (SWE) for a place in the final

AEGON GB Pro-Series Newcastle – Men’s singles & doubles
At the AEGON GB Pro-Series Newcastle, the men’s singles draw has reached the quarter-final stages in a week interrupted by a number of rain delays. British players Oliver Golding, Daniel Smethurst and Andrew Fitzpatrick have all secured their places in the last four.
Golding defeated eighth seed Arthur de Greef (BEL) 6-4, 6-2 while third seed Daniel Smethurst claimed his place after taking the first set 6-1 off compatriot Kyle Edmund who was then forced to retire. Fitzpatrick then followed with a 6-3, 6-2 win over qualifier Scott Griekspoor (NED).
Meanwhile in the men’s doubles, Daniel Smethurst & Liam Broady claimed the title in Newcastle after a 7-6(6), 6-0 victory over compatriots Jack Carpenter & Ashley Hewitt.

AEGON British Tour, Sutton – Men’s & Women’s singles
The AEGON British Tour Sutton has reached the quarter-final stages of the draw. The men’s singles sees AEGON British Tour Newcastle champion Alan Bevan in action against wild card Tom Allen and top seed Thomas Burn taking on Rowan Isaaks. Oliver Schuett, Patrick Ogier, Jathan Malik and Marshall Tutu will also be on court.
In the women’s draw top seed Daneika Borthwick is taking on fifth seed Emilia Banos-Gregorians and qualifiers Lana Rush and Alannah Griffin will also compete to reach the semi-finals. Also contending for a place in the last four is Natasha Starling, Stephanie Cornish, Elisha Gabb and Dominique Covington.
AEGON British Tour, Newcastle
Grade 2, Italy – Boys’ singles
Evan Hoyt has reached the quarter-finals of the boys’ singles in Italy. Playing as tenth seed, Hoyt next faces Giovanni Rizzuti (ITA). Hoyt is also in action in the boys’ doubles with partner Franko Miocic. The second seeded duo have won through to the last eight where they now play Nguyen (CAN) & Torpegaard (DEN).

Second seed Alexander Sendegeya has reached the quarter-finals in America where he faces Daniel Kerznerman (USA).
U14 Category 1 Czech Republic – Girls’ singles
Maia Lumsden and Gabriella Taylor are through to the girls’ singles semi-finals in the Czech Republic. Fourth seeded Lumsden is up against sixth seed Aleksandra Pospelova (RUS) in one semi-final while seventh seed Taylor is playing eighth seed Tereza Kolarova (CZE) in the other.
U12 Category 3 Turkey – Girls’ singles
Francesca Jones has won through to the girls’ singles semi-finals in Turkey. In the last four the Briton will play Dagmar Zdrubecka (CZE).
Atlanta Open, ITF 1
Lucy Shuker will contest the second ITF 1 Series women's singles final of her career today after she and Jordanne Whiley experienced mixed fortunes in the semi-finals in Atlanta. Meanwhile, Shuker and Whiley will also contest the women's doubles final and Marc McCarroll will bid for his second ITF 1 Series men's doubles title.

Alex Jewitt made a solid start to his men's singles campaign in Spain, defeating Daniel Prada 6-1, 6-0. Jewitt will face another Spanish player, Juan Gutierrez, in the quarter-finals.
