On Saturday, the GB Olympic tennis team of Laura Robson, Anne Keothavong, Elena Baltacha, Heather Watson, Ross Hutchins, Colin Fleming, Jamie Murray and Andy Murray all begin their Olympic campaigns.
In addition, Laura Robson has received entry into the London 2012 Olympic Games tennis singles event after Petra Martic (CRO) had to withdraw through injury.

British doubles duo, Jamie Delgado & Ken Skupski are through to the second round of the ATP 250 men’s doubles event in LA, America. The third seeded pair face Americans Rajeev Ram & Michael Russell in the next round.

Dan Smethurst and Alex Slabinsky are through to the quarter-finals of the men's singles in Austria. Top seed Smethurst plays Marcus Weiglhofer (AUT) in the last eight, while Slabinsky is taking on wild card Nicolas Reissig (AUT).
Meanwhile in the men's doubles second seeds James Marsalek & Daniel Smethurst have won through final where they play top seeds Maximilian Neuchrist (AUT) & Mate Pavic (CRO) for the title.

ITF Ireland F1 Futures – Men’s singles & doubles
Top seed Josh Goodall is through to the semi-finals in Ireland after a 3-6, 6-4, 7-5 win over compatriot Dan Cox. Goodall plays third seed James McGee (IRL) for a place in the final. Meanwhile in the doubles, Neil Pauffley and partner Manuel Sanchez (MEX) progressed through to the semi-finals before being defeated by top seeded French duo Albano Olivetti & Elie Rousset 6-4, 6-4.

AEGON GB Pro-Series Wrexham Week 1 – Women’s singles & doubles
Top seed Donna Vekic of Croatia leads the way at the AEGON GB Pro-Series in Wrexham. In the semi-finals she plays Nicola Geuer (GER), while eighth seed Adrianna Perez (VEN) plays Carina Witthoeft (GER) in the other half of the draw.

AEGON Junior International Bournemouth, Tennis Europe 14U, Category 3 - Boys’ & Girls’ singles & doubles
The AEGON Junior International Bournemouth is a 14U Tennis Europe boys’ and girls’ singles and doubles event. Both the girls’ and boys’ singles draws have reached the semi-final stages. Competing for a place in the boys’ singles final is wild card Jack Molloy playing Lorenzo Corioni (ITA) in one half of the draw while, second seed Max Stewart plays eighth seed Mats Rosenkranz (GER) in the other.
The girls event sees all-British semi-finals as Ema Lazix is up against Ellie-Rose Griffiths, while Katie Swan is playing Georgie Walker.
In both the doubles draws there are still a number of Britons in action.

Grade B1, Switzerland – Boys’ singles
Jonny O’Mara has reached the fourth round of the boys’ singles in Switzerland. He plays Anton Dubrov (BLR) for a place in the quarter-finals.

Grade 4, Switzerland – Boys’ & Girls’ singles & doubles
Joshua Paris and Jamie Malik have won through to the boys’ singles quarter-finals in Switzerland. In the last eight Paris plays Jason Platzer (AUT) while Malik is up against Luca Marquard (GER). Katie Boulter is also in action in the girls’ doubles with Italian partner Georgina Brescia. The sixth seeded duo are through to the semi-finals.
Grade 5, Ireland – Boys’ & Girls’ singles & doubles
Andrew Watson has claimed the boys’ singles title in Ireland. In the final two, seventh seeded Watson defeated second seeded Rodolfo Pereira (POR), while in the boys’ doubles event William Huyton & Simon Pritchard finished as champions.

In the girls’ draw, Dominique Covington won the girls’ singles title after a 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 win over top seed Alexandria Stiteler (USA). There was more British success in the girls’ doubles as Brigit Folland & Rebecca Smaller took the title.
Tennis Europe Nations Challenge by HEAD – Boys’ & Girls’ singles & doubles
The 12&U Great Britain girls and boys have been competing in the 2012 Tennis Europe Nations Challenge by HEAD qualifying rounds which are taking place from 26-29 July. The girls' team consisting of Ali Collins, Claudia Hallsworth and Eliz Maloney took on Spain in their opening round match but were defeated 2-1.
Ali Collins got the team off to a great start beating Carlotta Molina the Spanish No.2 4-6, 7-5, 7-5 in a 3 hours and 15 minutes. Spain then levelled the match when Claudia Hallsworth lost to the Spanish No.1 Paula Arias 6-3 6-2. Ali Collins then teamed up with Eliz Maloney for the doubles losing 6-2, 6-4 to Molina & Arias. The girls go on to play Switzerland next.
Meanwhile the 12&U boys' team of Harry Butler, Ewen Lumsden and George Hutchings have been competing in Ankara, Turkey missing out to Germany in their opening round.

TE Category 2, France – Girls’ singles
Sixth seed Eden Richardson reached the semi-finals of the girls’ singles in France. In the last four Richardson played top seed Ines Ibbou but was defeated 7-5, 6-0.

TE Category 2, Austria – Girls’ singles
Maria Budin is through to the girls’ singles semi-finals in Austria. For a place in the final two, Budin must next overcome Maria Lyven.
TE Category 3, Austria – Boys’ singles
Top seed Daniel Bennett has won through to the boys’ singles quarter-finals where he plays Luigi Sorrentino (ITA).
TE European Championships, Czech Republic – Boys’ singles
Ninth seed Samuel Ferguson has progressed into the quarter-finals in the Czech Republic Tennis Europe European Championships. In the last eight Ferguson plays third seed Mikael Yemer.
Belgian Open, ITF1
There will be a British player in the women's doubles final at this year's Belgian Open as Lucy Shuker and Louise Hunt will face each other in the semi-finals, just hours after seeing their respective women's singles challenges come to an end in the quarter-finals.
