Jamie Murray and American Liezel Huber are through to the US Open mixed doubles final in New York after a comprehensive victory on Tuesday.
Murray and Huber saw off unseeded Americans Eric Butorac and Jill Craybas 6-3 6-4 in the semi-final and will now meet the No 5 seeds, Indian Leander Paes and Zimbabwean Cara Black, to decide the title.
Murray and Huber have already gone one better than at the US Open in 2007 and The Championships this summer where they reached the semi-final on both occasions.
Meanwhile, Andy Murray’s singles quarter-final against the No 17 seed, Argentinean Juan Martin Del Potro, is scheduled to be played in the Arthur Ashe Stadium on Wednesday – not before 7:00pm (BST).
