Murray brothers win in Toronto

Andy and Jamie Murray secured a place in round two of the Toronto Masters with a straight sets victory over the French pair Richard Gasquet and Nicolas Mahut.

The British pair who will be teaming up again next month for the Olympics came back from a break down in the first set to win 7-6(4) 6-2.

The brothers will face Wimbledon champions Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjic for a place in the quarter finals.

Andy Murray, who is seeded eighth in the singles draw and received a bye in the first round, will face Thomas Johansson in round two. The Swedish player, once ranked inside the top 10, defeated qualifier Andrey Golubev 7-6 6-1.
