Andy Murray is through to the fourth round of The Championships, Wimbledon following a 7-5, 3-6, 7-5, 6-1 defeat of Marcos Baghdatis. "I was very nervous, I knew it was going to be tough," said Murray. "I was just kind of hustling my way through the match and I am going to need to play better, if I want to go deep into the tournament."
The Briton completed the victory in three hours and 13 minutes managing to also beat the 11pm deadline for end of play under the Centre Court roof. "I was under the impression I was stopping at 11 (23:00 BST) regardless of what the score was - even if it was in the middle of a game" said Murray. "I am obviously glad I managed to get the finish. The atmosphere at the end was excellent."
Murray will next play Croatian Marin Cilic in the fourth round at The All England Club on Monday.
There are still a number of British players competing in the doubles and junior events. Find out more information in the Wimbledon area of the LTA website.
