Dan Smethurst on his way to the title in Antalya
ATP Challenger, Internazionali di Tennis, Bergamo, Italy - Men’s doubles
Jamie Delgado & Ken Skupski won the €42.5k ATP Challenger in Bergamo, Italy this weekend. After beating fellow Briton Jonny Marray and his German partner Dustin Brown 6-3, 7-6(4) in the semi-finals they went on to defeat Austrian duo Martin Fischer & Philipp Oswald 7-5, 7-5 to win the title.

$10k Turkey F6 Futures, Antalya – Men’s singles
Dan Smethurst won the title in Antalya after winning five singles matches. As seventh seed he defeated fourth seeded South African Ruan Roelofse 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 for a place in the final and then came past top seed Radu Albot (MDA) 3-6, 7-5, 6-0 to win the title.
Smethurst also reached the semi-finals of the doubles with Ed Corrie after the pair won in the last eight against the South African second seeds, before falling to a Belgian duo.
$10k Turkey F6 Futures - Antalya
Anne Keothavong lost out 6-3, 6-2 to fourth seed Mona Barthel in round one at the WTA Premier qualifying event in Dubai, UAE this weekend.

Naomi Broady also lost to the fourth seed, beaten 6-2, 6-1 by Camila Giorgi of Italy in QD round one in USA.
$15k Croatia F1 Futures, Zagreb - Men’s singles
Richard Bloomfield finished as runner up after losing the singles final in Zagreb. After four victories the Briton eventually fell 3-6, 6-2, 6-0 to Marek Michalicka (CZE) in the final.

$10k Spain F2 Futures, Mallorca – Men’s singles
Morgan Phillips also finished as runner up after reaching the final in Mallorca. He won through his quarter-final after his opponent retired, won his semi-final in three sets, before falling 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 to Clar-Rossello (ESP) in the final.

TE Boys’ 14U & 16U Winter Cups Finals
The 14U GB boys’ team won the Winter Cup after beating Germany, Hungary and Sweden in Correggio, Italy, this weekend.

The 16U GB boys team finished in fifth place after losing one match and winning two in Ronchin, France.

AEGON British Tour Corby – Men’s & Women’s singles
Dan Cox and Jess Ren won the singles titles in Corby on Saturday. Cox won when Andrew Fitzpatrick retired with the top seed leading 7-6(3), 1-0 and Ren defeated sixth seed Katy Dunne 7-5, 6-0.

ITF Grade 4 – Denmark - Boys’ singles & doubles
Samm Butler finished as runner up after defeat in the singles final in Copenhagen. The British sixth seed has won four singles matches, winning each one in straight sets, before falling 6-3, 6-3 to the Swedish top seed Fred Simonsson. In the doubles event Butler and his Russian partner were second seeds and won 6-3, 6-1 in the final against a Norwegian pair to claim the title.

ITF Grade 4 – Finland - Boys’ singles & doubles and Girls’ doubles
James Elliott and Lewis Roskilly won the doubles title and reached the singles semi-finals in Finland. The two players won three singles matches before losing out in separate semi-finals against a Lithuanian and a Russian respectively. In the doubles, as second seeds, they won three matches before winning 6-2, 6-2 in the final.
In the girls’ doubles Danielle Konotoptseva & Rebecca Smaller reached the semi-finals before falling 7-6(3), 6-3 to the Russian top seeds.
ITF Grade 2 – Chile - Boys’ doubles
Tom Hill reached the doubles semi-finals in Santiago before, along with his Brazilian partner, losing 6-2, 6-2 to a Chilean pair.
ITF Grade 2 – Moldova - Boys’ doubles
Thomas Colautti lost out in the doubles semi-finals in Moldova. Along with his Lithuanian partner, they went down 6-3, 6-4 to the second seeds.
ITF Grade 5 – Tunisia - Boys’ & Girls’ singles & doubles
There were a number of British players competing in singles and doubles in Tunisia with Ruby Grant & Emily Smith reaching the semi-finals of the doubles before suffering defeat.
2012 ITF Seniors World Individual Championships
Paul French and Isabelle Tyrrell finished as runners up in their respective singles events in San Diego. French reached the final of the men's 55 event before falling 6-1, 6-2 to Mark Vines (USA), whilst Tyrrell came runner up in the women's 40 event, losing 6-0, 6-2 in the final against Jurate Hardy (AUS).
There was one British title as Chris Hearn won the 50 mixed doubles title with Brenda Foster (AUS), winning 6-4, 6-4 against a New Zealand pair in the final. Christine French also finished as runner up in the women's 50 doubles.
