La Manga Club, Spain

For the 2012 off-season, some of Britain’s top tennis players and their support teams have gone out to La Manga, Spain in preparation for the 2013 season. The players and coaches are providing pictures, videos and updates around their on-court and off-court activities including behind the scenes footage of training drills and the use of sport science technology.

Andy Murray has been voted third in the 2012 BBC Sports Personality of the Year. The Olympic Gold medallist and US Open Grand Slam champion came behind the Tour de France and Olympic time trial titleholder, Bradley Wiggins, while Olympic heptathlon champion Jessica Ennis claimed the runner-up spot.

The Lawn Tennis Association Limited (LTA) has appointed David Gregson as independent Chairman of the LTA Board. The appointment was approved at a special meeting of the LTA Council on 12th December.
