Tuesday 20th July 2010 saw a reversal in fortunes for Yorkshire's Ladies Side in Woking.
The Ladies, captained by Mel Roach, had lost their first days play against Norfolk and faced the West of Scotland Side on the second day.
The pairing of Katie Jessop and Laura Oldham won 2 out of their 3 matches, Mel Roach and Megan O’Sullivan also won 2 out of the 3 matches and Jo Craven with her partner Linsey Jacks won all three. Overall the days score was 7-2 to Yorkshire giving the team and their placing on the Division 4 table a much needed boost.
The Mens Team in Cromer continued their good form in their second day matches. They faced Derbyshire and won 6-3. Kyle Brassington and Elliot Chang won 2 out of 3 matches, Ben Atkinson and Ben Gudzelak also won 2 out of 3 and Doug Keen and Michael Tolman followed suit winning 2 also.
The Yorkshire Men’s side now top the table in Division 2 after 2 days play. More reports to follow over the rest of the week.
