Wiltshire well represented at the Veteran tournament hosted by Delta TC

The Delta Tennis Centre, Swindon hosted a Tournament for the Veteran Tennis Club of Great Britain, ‘The Over 45 Club’. 

The Club provides tennis for those men over 45 and ladies over 40 who still want to play competitive tennis, offering a  tournament every week at venues all over the country and abroad.  Players travelled from as far as Birmingham, London, Wales, Somerset and Devon to compete for a one day Mixed Doubles Tournament. 

Although the winning couple came from Surrey, Wiltshire was well represented with local couple Allan Hunt and Louis Crawford just being pipped at the semi-final stage, while Hillary Coates and Allan Lines just missed the final of the consolation event.  The high quality tennis was appropriately rounded off by an excellent supper provided by the Delta Tennis Centre.
