LOVE - SET - MATCH

Henley in Arden Tennis Club are delighted to announce that their coach Neil Supperstone is to marry 3rd team ladies captain, Lucy Webster.

Neil, who won the Coach of the year award at the annual WLTA awards this year from the Henley Club, also runs Coolsportz with his sister Lianne, who is a former Coach of the Year award winner,.  Lucy, a keen member of the club, who plays regularly for the teams, organises and runs the Junior Tennis Championships and helps with their Christmas party and adult and child tournaments.  They are both a great asset to the club who wish them a long and happy life together.

Henley Tennis Club is holding a party to celebrate the start of the new season on 1 April at 6.30p.m.  They are delighted to welcome any potential new members to the club to join them for the evening, where their will be refreshments and the finals of the Bunny Shepherd Tournament and Rowen Photography Plate.

The club are also hosting an Open Mixed Pair’s Tournament on 11 April from 11a.m. – 3 p.m. This tournament has been sponsored by local shop Studio 34, and promises to be a big success.  Details can be obtained from Judy Mathias, club secretary 01564 792378
