The WALTA Awards 2010

The 2009 WALTA Awards took place on Friday 22nd January at The Botanical Gardens in Birmingham.  It was a fabulous night which offered the usual great food, a great awards ceremony and top class entertainment to finish off the night in style.  Over 170 guests attended the event from all over the Warwickshire County such is the high popularity of the event.  However for those who were unable to attend the event here is a list of who won what award:

Junior Player of the Year:  Lloyd Glasspool.

Senior Player of the Year:  Luisa Cowper.

Veteran Player of the Year: Ken Buswell.

Coach of the Year:   Richard Allen & Neil Supperstone.

Referee of the Year:  Bev Lancaster.

Volunteer of the Year:  Tim Webb & John Eccleston.

Young Leader of the Year:  Katie Evans 

Press Award:    Andy Turner (Coventry Evening Telegraph).

Team of the Year:   Edgbaston Priory Club 18U Girls Team.

Club of the Year:   The Edgbaston Priory Club.
