Downswood LTC achieves Tennis Clubmark

Downswood Tennis Club, near Epsom has become the latest Surrey club to achieve Clubmark accreditation.

The accreditation assesses clubs on standards of child protection, coaching, equity, club management along with numerous other factors. Downswood have shown a commitment to these qualities, this will no doubt help to attract and retain future members as well as increase the club’s profile.

Janet Dunbar, the Clubmark Lead at Downswood, commented:

“The Clubmark process was certainly not a quick one, however we are delighted to have achieved the accreditation and have no doubt it will help in safe guarding and progressing the club.”
