Frome Tennis Club Annual Quiz Night

Frome Selwood Tennis Club held their annual quiz on Saturday 27th February.  The quiz was a sell-out with 60 people attending. The winning slot was hotly contested by three teams who fought to the last round. ‘Grand Sham’ beat ‘10 Men went to Mow’ by just 1 point and the team which was in the lead for the first 5 rounds ‘The Craig’s’ came a close third.  The club held a raffle and were very grateful to the sponsors of the ladies team (Frome Physio and Sports Injury Clinic) who donated a £45 aromatherapy voucher, and the sponsors of the men’s teams (The Griffin) who donated a meal for 2 for their Caribbean night. The sum of £243 was raised from the evening.

The club’s playing facilities are currently being completely refurbished ready for the new season. Members will shortly enjoy brand-new courts and the latest floodlighting.
