Glasgow’s Ewen Lumsden became the latest Scot to lift a Junior Masters title, winning the AEGON Winter 10 and Under Grand Prix event at Roehampton. The Scot defeated England’s Jake Hersey, the top seed, 4-1 4-0 in the final while fellow Scot Cameron Kerr reached the last four before winning the 3rd/4th place play-off against George Hutchings.
In the girl’s competition, Edinburgh’s Alexandra Hunter almost made it a Scottish double having had three match points against Jodie Lawrence-Taylor before being edged out 2-4 4-2 [10-12].
