Most children have their first experience of tennis at school. All schools can provide access to tennis whether it is on a playground, in a school hall or on a court. By building links with a local club, schools can further provide pupils with access to coaching and other tennis support.

A Schools Tennis Competition Framework has been developed to provide simple, inclusive and progressive schools competition opportunities. There are two categories of SchoolsTennis Competitions, National and Local.

A priority Year 3/4 Primary School Competition and Year 7/8 Secondary School Competition has been developed to be delivered through the Competition Manager network.
