Leicestershire has a dedicated team of officers who are responsible for the development of tennis across the county. Here you can find out more about the team and their current roles in British Tennis.
Paul Sheard - Tennis Development Manager
Paul was appointed in 2007 and is responsible for junior competition, clubs, coaches and schools tennis. He is a CCA licensed coach and experienced referee and was previously the TDO for Sheffield and Development Manager at Graves TC.
Rob Briggs - Talent & Performance Coordinator
Rob was appointed as TPC in July 2011. He covers Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire and his role is to identify and provide support for talented 10&U players. Rob was formerly the TPC for Warwickshire and Head Coach at Chesterfield LTC.
Penny McCrorie - Competition Organiser
Penny re-joined the County Team in September 2010 as the Competition Organiser. Her role involves organising and delivering the programme of local competitions in Leicestershire.
Donna Bickley- Midlands Facility Projects Manager
Donna came into post in 2007 and works across all nine Midlands counties to help clubs upgrade exisiting facilities and develop new ones. Prior to this Donna worked for the LTA as the CDO for Nottinghamshire.
Tuula Hastings - Tennis Services Assistant
Tuula started working for the county in July 2002, and is particularly interested in junior competition. She works on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Yasmeen Underwood - Tennis Services Assistant
Yasmeen has been with the LTA since June 2007. Prior to this she worked for British Swimming in International Events. She works Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
