Kent Highlights in the National Veteran Indoor Championships

Many Kent players participated in the National Veteran Indoor Championships in Dudley in January. There were many successes which we want to highlight!

Martin Guntrip (with Stephen Alger) won the Men’s 45 Doubles while Anthea Stewart won the Women’s 50 Singles.

Anthea Stewart kept up her winning ways by winning the Womens 50 Doubles (with Christine French)

Marcia Ackers (with Jean Porter) were beaten finalist in the Womens 70 Doubles and Cynthia Smith was a beaten finalist in the Womens 75 Singles.

The Mens 80s Singles and Doubles titles were won by Kent’s Paul Drane (with John Draper for the doubles)
