Junior successes over the festive period

A number of players from across the County experienced an even better Christmas by competing in some of the country’s largest competitions.

Nick Sayer joined Taro Keens in the Grade 1 AEGON Winter Masters being held at the National Tennis Centre in London. Both Nick and Taro were seeded second in the competition but both bowed out at the quarter final stages against tough opposition.

Gabriella Taylor has started 2010 in fine form and currently holds the British Number 1 ranking in the 12 & Under Girls category. Gabriella recently represented Great Britain against Belgium at the National Tennis Centre in London.

Elsewhere Ella Taylor is ranked within the top 20 16 & Under Girls in the Country and is still only 14 years old. Strong performances throughout the winter will move Ella even higher.
