Cambridgeshire 9 and Under Orange Team

Cambridgeshire’s 9 and under Orange Team of Marcus Witt, Harry Wendelken, Oscar Brydon and Mollie MacDonald and captained by Sue Rich did incredibly well to finish third in the 12 County Team Event at Corby on 2nd Jan 2010.

Cambridgeshire were missing their top two players to make this an even better achievement. It was the first time this event had been held at Corby and included teams from Notts, Beds, Norfolk, Hereford and Worcester, Herts, Shropshire and Bucks.

It was a great team effort and all players contributed to the success – Harry Wendelken did particularly well winning 4 of his 5 matches. This was an encouraging start for Cambs Tennis in 2010.
