As a member of British Tennis you are entitled to attend, and indeed the members of the Executive Committee would be really delighted if you do.
Cambs LTA readily accept that during the period of huge upheaval within the LTA over the last few years, it has been difficult for the volunteers who give their time to Cambs LTA to provide you with much support.
As well as continuing to organise the Cambs Senior leagues, Cambs LTA now intends to be much more active in the following areas:
• Help for the many smaller clubs who have been largely unsupported within the new LTA structure.
• Fund raising through Sponsorship & Marketing, and through Friends of Cambridgeshire tennis.
• Running all the activities vital to producing new young players, and supporting existing young players.
• Encouraging senior players into the County teams & Tournaments.
Once the formal agenda of the Annual Meeting is complete there will be a chance in an informal atmosphere to talk with the members of the Executive Committee, and to raise any thoughts, suggestions or questions you may have.
And if you are interested in one of the 4 areas above we are actively looking to find new volunteers to join the Committees, you'd be very welcome. There is the opportunity to volunteer on the night. The Junior Committee is in real need of volunteers (perhaps parents) to help run the Junior County teams.
