Denise Walker is Club Volunteer of the Year

Denise Walker has been recognised and rewarded for her fantastic contribution to Latika Junior Tennis Club by being named Berkshire Club Volunteer of the Year.

Denise, who is currently Chairman, has been involved in the Club committe at Latika for 13 years, having joined up when her son, Matthew, was playing at the Club. Matthew is now 23 and Denise continues to be involved several hours every week as well as looking after some of the major annual events such as the Club Presentation Evening and heading up the Clubmark Accreditation which is on course for being completed very soon.

Matt Reid, Latika JTC Head Coach, recognised the contribution Denise makes when he said "Denise has been a very hard worker over many years at the Club and has worked for the short and long term benefit of the Club. She is the major contributer to driving the Club forward to what it is hoping to achieve"
