Meet Berkshire Club Development Committee

The Committee has been set up as a point of reference for clubs and as a means of supporting the County Tennis Development Manager [TDM].   Clubs may contact the Committee directly or through the TDM with their queries.

The Club Development Committee members are both volunteers and members of successful small and large clubs willing to share advice for the good of the game of tennis.

Berkshire Tennis is supported by officials who meet during the year at executive and council meetings.

Senior & Veteran County Captains

County Captains are responsible for team practise and selection for county teams.  If you are interested in playing in our Berkshire Veteran teams, please contact the relevant team captain

Getting an LTA CRB disclosure application pack

An LTA CRB disclosure application pack includes an application form as well as detailed instructions on how to make your application.

If you would like to get an LTA CRB disclosure application pack, you can:

• Email the CRB team at crb@LTA.org.uk with your full postal address
• Email Berkshire team at mem.aldridge@LTA.org.uk with your full postal address

 Making an Appointment

If you wish to have your CRB signed off by a verifier in the Berkshire Office, please call to make an appointment.

Monday – Friday: 10:00 – 3:00 pm

 IMPORTANT:

The cost of an Enhanced CRB check will increase from £36 to £44 from 04 April 2011.  Cheque payable to LTA Operations LTD.

CRB checks for volunteers will continue to be free of charge.

Your application will then be processed and once approved or ‘countersigned’, your form will be sent to the CRB itself for the check to be carried out.  This can take up to 8 weeks although most are issued within a 4-6 week period. 

Two copies of the disclosure are issued by the CRB Executive Agency – one is sent directly to you and the other one is sent directly to the CRB team at the LTA.
