In 2012, the LTA will continue to work with the international children's charity Right To Play as their official international charitable partner to give more vulnerable children across the world the chance to develop healthily in body and mind through the power of sport.
Through this partnership, the LTA will leave a sporting legacy in communities affected by conflict, poverty and disease. Local coaches trained by Right To Play will harness the power of sport– respect, teamwork, leadership, conflict resolution, fair-play – to give children a chance to recover their childhoods and protect themselves from deadly diseases like malaria and HIV/AIDs.
Right To Play is supported by a number of top tennis players, including Laura Robson, Anne Keothavong, Ade Adepitan and Martina Hingis. They understand the power of sport to change lives and work closely with the charity to raise awareness and funds in support of Right To Play’s work.
By supporting this unique cause, the LTA encourages its players, members and staff to look beyond the tennis court to children living in poverty across the world.

A message from Right to Play following the conclusion of their 'Gift of Play' campaign.
"Thank you so much for your support on Right To Play’s holiday campaign, the Gifts Of Play. We received an overwhelming response, enough to give just over 1250 children access to Right To Play programmes for a year."
