The role of Assistant Performance Coach is to work with the Lead and Senior Programme Coaches to create and develop a world class training environment through developing/sustaining the core behaviours required of professional athletes to achieve success and become positive role models within tennis.
The purpose of this role is to provide quality and consistent service to local tennis people in a professional manner and to support the delivery of tennis in the area. The successful candidate will be based at our Tennis East office in Cambridge and will be responsible for providing comprehensive admin support to the Team, which works across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire, Suffolk and Norfolk.
British Tennis Youth Group
The group will be made up of people aged between 16 – 25 years old, and will work with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) and the Tennis Foundation on the development of new offers and campaigns aimed at young people.
You will have the knowledge and commitment to manage our tennis developments, working closely with Local Authorities and other key partners, coaches, places to play, schools, colleges and universities and volunteers across the Essex area.
We are looking for a senior executive with experience in a sports or FMCG organization who has worked in a consumer/customer focused, multi stakeholder environment. You will need a proven track record of delivering results and experience in a customer focused organization and delivery of significant transformational change projects.
