Qualification Upgrades

If you qualified as a coach before 2008 and have previous qualifications such as a DCA, CCA, PCA or TDA you can upgrade to the current qualifications on the Coaching Pathway without doing the entire course. Click on the below links to find out what you need to do to achieve your upgrade now.

Why has the upgrade structure evolved?

• To deliver the most current and relevant information that you as coaches need to know, and as you choose which modules to take it is specific to the area in which you are working.
• Direct feedback from coaches has been listened to and acted on.
• To give you more flexibility regarding dates and venues available. Previously you had to attend set dates dictated by when the courses were run. Now you can choose dates that are more convenient for you as there will be a wider choice of dates which allows you to manage your coaching commitments around your training.
• To deliver a more sustainable way to maintain the upgrades as many coaches have already upgraded so the number needing specific upgrade courses is decreasing, this way coaches can still upgrade but have a wider number and choice of courses to choose from.
