The Coach Qualification covers the key coaching skills required to be an effective coach as well as the tactical, technical, physical and mental information a coach needs to work with beginners and improvers.
The Coach Qualification is a major and rewarding step for coaches ready to acquire the skills of a full-time professional tennis coach. It provides a rounded training in on court skills and in how to work as a coach in your chosen professional setting.
As part of the Coach Qualification you will spend one day covering The Disability Awareness Course which covers the key information and skills required to be a coach who can deliver tennis sessions to all.
The course will inform coaches of the specific impairment groups (Wheelchair, Visually Impaired, Deaf and Learning Disabilities), the implications for working with these groups and how to deliver sessions accordingly.
