IN BRIEF

  • James Ward won the men’s singles title at the $10,000 event in Denia, Spain.
  • Lancashire and Warwickshire won the men’s and women’s titles respectively at the LTA Summer County Cup in Eastbourne.
  • James Turbervill won the boys’ singles title at the 18 & under ITF Grade 5 event in Cobh, Ireland.
  • Chris Harrison & Michael Ward won the boys’ doubles title at the 18 & under ITF Grade 5 event in Cobh, Ireland.
  • Peter Norfolk won the quads’ singles title at the British Open Wheelchair Tennis Championships in Nottingham.

  • James Ward (GBR) won the singles title defeating Pablo Martin-Adalia (ESP) 7-6(1) 7-6(4) in the final.
Eastbourne, Great Britain – LTA Summer County Cup
  • Lancashire won the title with Hertfordshire finishing runner-up.
Nottingham, Great Britain – British Open Wheelchair Tennis Championships
  • Peter Norfolk (GBR) won the quads’ singles title defeating David Wagner (GBR) 6-1 2-6 7-6(2) in the final.
  • Peter Norfolk (GBR) & Jamie Burdekin (GBR) reached the quads’ doubles final losing to David Wagner (USA) & Nicholas Taylor (USA) 2-6 7-5 1-6.

Women
