Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence (AASE)

Start here if you are between 16 and 18 years old, are in secondary education, have an LTA rating of 6.1 or higher, and an aspiration for a full-time tennis career.

Level 1 Coaching Assistant Course 

If you’re 16, start your coaching qualification here. You’ll need to pass this course to begin coaching before you become eligible for the Level 2 course.

Level 2 Coaching Assistant Course

This is the second step of the qualification process. It is available to those who are 17 or older and is a prerequisite before taking the Coach Qualification.

Coach Qualification

The Coach Qualification follows the level 1 and 2 coaching assistant courses and is key to establishing yourself as a tennis professional.

Convert your qualification

If you have a qualification from another organisation or abroad, you’ll need to complete this course to be recognised at Coach Qualification level and join the Coach Licensing Scheme.
