What services are available?

For the tennis providers that qualify, there are a number of services that are available ranging from guidance notes through to funding. Facility Project Managers are able to give you more information on the support available and how to access it.

Facility Project Managers:

Are able to give advice on technical, legal, financial and tennis queries.

Tennis Development Managers:

Are available for general advice, will review individual projects and indicate their priority level.

Tennis Resources:

These resources are available to download for free. They provide information on a range of areas from technical guidance and business planning to developing your tennis programme and best practice case studies. Technical Tennis Resources include:

Clubs/ Local Authorities:

Your first step is to contact your Tennis Development Manager to start the Tennis Clubmark process. Tennis Clubmark is the LTA’s club accreditation programme.

Consultants/Specialists advice:

There is a network of specialist consultants that can provide you with advice in the construction of your facility.

Mergers and relocations:

For those tennis providers who are aiming to relocate or merge, there is specific advice available from your Facility Project Manager.

Sport and Play Construction Association (SAPCA):

When undertaking the development of facilities, tennis providers should use SAPCA contractors to make sure they are constructed to the correct specifications and standards. SAPCA is the UK trade association for the sports facility construction industry.
