What is the Places to Play Strategy?

It’s one plan for British Tennis driven by increasing the opportunities to participate, compete and get access to coaching at all levels. It is a joined up approach that is completely interwoven through all aspects of the sport.

How does the strategy work?

The strategy is simple, easy to use and gives clear guidance on expectations for financial support from the resources and funds available to British Tennis.

Through this system the LTA makes financial support available through its resources, and ensures investments will deliver the maximum return for British Tennis.

Delivery of the Places to Play strategy will increase the number and standard of facilities available throughout the UK.  

It will have a measurable impact on British Tennis. These facilities will be available to the whole community at a reasonable, affordable cost whilst sustaining the financial viability of the clubs and tennis providers.
