The NTC provides world-class services in biomechanics, fitness, psychology, physiotherapy and rehab, strength and conditioning, medical support and nutrition, led by Head of Sports Science Dr. Ann Quinn
Ann will ensure that the latest scientific and technical innovations within and outside sport are analysed, assessed and where relevant, brought into British tennis.
The Sports Medicine and Science Centre (SMSC) offers high performance players:
- Physical therapies – physiotherapy, chiropractic, osteopathy and massage
- Sports medicine – general practice, sports medicine and specialist review
- Sports nutrition
- Sports psychology
- Podiatry and gait analysis
- Exercise physiology – including lactate and VO2max measurement
- Vision screening and training
- Cardiac screening
- MRI on site (in conjunction with Consultant staff from the Royal National Orthopaedic and Parkside Hospitals)
- Educational advisory service
