As part of our goal of Tennis Opened Up and to make tennis as inclusive a sport as possible, we want to reiterate our ongoing support during Pride Month for LGBTQ+ communities across the country, and highlight that our events, along with the sport as a whole, are safe, inclusive and open spaces where people can be their authentic selves.
That’s why every friday of our major events in 2024 will once again host ‘Friday Pride Days’. These events place a special focus on Pride and act as a platform to raise visibility and awareness of LGBTQ+ inclusion in tennis.
We’d love it if as many people as possible attending the Rothesay International brought as much colour as they can to Devonshire Park. Whether it’s simply wearing rainbow laces or a wristband, or wearing your brightest, most colourful t-shirt or pair of trousers, it'd be fantastic if you could show your colours in support of Pride.
Volunteers from the Pride in Tennis network will be on-site throughout the day, to answer any questions fans have about Pride celebrations or what you can do to show support as allies of LGBTQ+ communities.
Unfortunately there is no left luggage facility on site. You may not bring a bag larger than 16” x 12” x 12” (40cm x 30cm x 30cm) into the grounds. For your safety, all bags are subject to inspection by our security team and are brought to the tournament at the owner’s risk.
General lost property will be taken to the Tournament Information Stand behind the South Stand of Centre Court. For any items lost in the stand please speak to one of the Marshals.
Merchandise will be available from the following outlets; Dunlop, K-Swiss, Castore and Crew Clothing.
Commemorative programme
If you're coming to the Rothesay International Eastbourne this summer, make sure you grab your commemorative tournament programme for just £7. It's the ultimate companion for anyone watching tennis this summer, filled with exclusive content and updates on what's going on in communities across Britain to open tennis up.
You can pre-order your copy online when you buy your tickets, which you can collect when you arrive on the day. Or, if you've already secured your seats for the action, programmes will be available to buy on-site throughout the tournament.
If you wish to leave and re-enter the grounds you will need to collect a wristband from a Security team member on exiting the grounds. In order to be re-admitted you will need to show both the wristband and a valid ticket.
Please be aware you will be handed a wristband only when leaving the venue and not before. You will be subject to a bag search when re-entering the venue.
Your safety and security is particularly important to us and our security plans are regularly reviewed to ensure they remain in line with the latest threat level and recommendations from Sussex Police and our security advisors.
During the tournament, we would ask everyone arriving to remain patient, follow the instructions given by our Security Stewards and allow plenty of time for bag search entry checks. For your safety the venue will operate 100% bag search as well as randomised person searches. Please help us by having your bag and ticket ready.
In preparation for the event please familiarise yourself with the conditions of entry as well as the prohibited and restricted items list.
For more information please check our Security Page.
Please check our official social media channels and website for any further updates and information.

Alongside marking the anniversary of 50 years of tennis at Eastbourne, the Wightman Cup is celebrating 101 years since their inaugural match in 1923 and 100 years since the first match was held in Great Britain.
While the Wightman Cup is no longer part of the tennis calendar, it was an annual team tennis competition for women contested from 1923 through 1989 (except during World War II) between teams from the United States and Great Britain.
This exhibition match will be played on Centre Court on Saturday 29th June from 11am.
Please be advised that Centre Court is a ticketed court and access to this match is only for Centre Court ticket holders on this day.
